I’m late on posting this…I know!
This week we continued patterning, but with numbers. We identified patterns in numbers-even and odd numbers and counting by 2s, 5s, and 10s. Here are some snap shots of our anchor charts we made. Nothing too fancy. It was a race against the clock last week! YEESH!
We also discussed needs and wants. We did a super cute lesson to kick off the discussion and we pretended like we were on the moon. We brainstormed a big list of things we would need if we moved to the moon. Then I introduced the vocabulary words “need” and “want” and we discussed how they are different. We broke our list down and created this anchor chart.
We then did a little Need or Want sort. Simplicity is what got us through last week!
We began discussing author’s purpose last week, also. More on that later in the week. 🙂 [
I’m late posting about the week because this is what I did yesterday!!
I ran my 3rd 1/2 marathon! My good friend, Noelle, (go check out her blog and tell all of your middle school friends know!) ran with me. We did so horrible with our training. We were so inconsistent, but had great times and really enjoyed yesterday! So thankful that we are able to do this!
