Favorite Fall Read Alouds

By this time of the year, our feet are pretty wet when it comes to read aloud time.  The kids are starting to sit well for longer and I am ready to teach more skills than just “sit and listen while I read”. HA!

I wanted to share some fall books that are my favorite for read aloud time as I model how to think as a good reader thinks.

I love using these to help retell, sequence, or discuss story elements.

These fall read alouds are perfect for an interactive read aloud lesson in kindergarten, first grade, or second grade! They easily integrate science concepts while also being able to touch comprehension strategies. #balancedliteracy #readalouds #kindergarten #firstgrade #secondgrade #fallbooks
