I am beginning at a new school this year. I was given the Daily 5 book and the CAFE book for summer reading. So far, so good. I don’t plan to fully implement the Daily 5. I really liked my system and did not have any major problems. I think I’m going to form a hybrid between my normal literacy stations and the Daily 5.
I DO plan on using the CAFE system fully, though. I know there are a ton of these around blog land, so maybe you’ll be able to find a set you’d want to use!
